Something relaxing; something easy. Pressure is bad on a first date. I guess the cliche is probably a good idea: dinner, some drinks, a little getting to know each other, maybe a movie or a stage production. Something that involves culture so that I can see how my date's mind works outside of conversation and vice versa. Words are too easily used to deceive. Actions and behavior speak much more of the truth of a person, and seeing the way a person reacts to things is a good way to get to know who they really are.
