Firstly, if I were to describe myself in a few words they would have to be:

My name is Alexander (but most people call me Alex), I'm single (boo!). Also, I am a graduate of Medieval Studies, and I am currently working towards undertaking an MA...

As you may have guessed, (or may not), I have an HUGE passion for history- especially that of the medieval world, such an interesting mixture of societies and culture, religion, war, hate, fear and love- not that different to our modern world, and yet so very sophisticated and brilliant.

I have quite a few hobbies, and I like to keep active through my fencing, reenactment and) I also enjoy doing a bit of alternative style modelling which is good fun too, as well as going to gigs and festivals when I can. I am also a huge fan of Burlesque.

I have a great appreciation for art and beauty (although I am no artist myself).

I admire courage and strength (although I still empathize with those in hardship).

I love to find 'random quotes' that capture my mood & sentiment.

As I mentioned above, deep down I am a hopeless romantic- I am searching for love, nothing more, nothing less- that special 'spark' that I need in my life.

I have a weakness for Gothic Ladies & Metal/Rocker Chicks, and I have a soft spot for girls with an artistic 'flair' about themselves... In short, I seek someone who can share some interests with, and see how things go.
