Heya, =].
The name is Carmela. The age is 20. I'm a vegetarian since January 11th, 2010 and love it. Love animals. i guess you could kind of classify me as a tree hugger type? haha. I may not change the world, but for that animal, I change it's world. And that's a prize in itself for me. I do this all with my own money. I live with my family. They are big part of who I am. Love them to death. I own 4 dogs and the number of cats varies at all times. At the least I have 6, but I am always picking up strays and doing animal rescue. Right now I am running my own non-profit with my mother. It takes up a lot of my time sometimes, and other times not at all. My animals are number 1. So whomever I date must understand that my schedule changes constantly

My dream is to become a vet, and open my own animal shelter.

I'm actively seeking a relationship, but will not settle for less then I deserve. I would like to take the chance to get to know someone and develop a little bit of a friendship first. I don't want to rush into things. I'm not looking for any one night stands or friends with benefits. I have class, and am not just gonna give away stuff for free.

Looking for a guy, who is open to me being a vegetarian. You don't necessarily have to be one as well, but respect my decision. Believe in something, maybe not Jesus but something. Be optimistic. I don't like downers. Don't be allergic to cats or dogs. As I love animals, and plan to have several animals. Be okay with my body figure. I'm thicker. I'm 5'4, so someone taller or right at my height. Someone shorter then me would make me feel like I'm taking my little brother out. And have a car. I'm working on getting one, but rely on public transportation right now. And have a job, or be looking, or have something going for you, or some goals in place. Maybe attending college. Also someone who understands rescue work with animals varies greatly, and sometimes I can be really busy or not busy at all. Almost like the job of a firefighter, or EMT, you never know when someone is hurt, well same goes for animals.

Also I'm very opinionated, and sometimes stubborn, but I feel strongly for animal rights. I love animals, and most of the time more then humans. I believe they should be fairly equal to us. I do want someone who shares somewhat equal view points to me. My opinions and me are a package deal.

I don't judge. However, physical attraction must be there. Not saying you need to be a Brad Pitt, but I'm not going to date someone who isn't attractive to me. You wouldn't be reading this, if you didn't think I was cute, right?
